Jo Yee earned her first year of psychology degree in HELP University in KL, and continued her degree in York St John University in United Kingdom. She continued her Master of Psychology in Child and Adolescents Development in the same university.

She also attended sandplay therapy course to enhance more knowledge and expand her interest in this field.

She have experience working with children with learning difficulties and special needs. She love children and what’s more interesting to her is their imagination which often surprise her and she believed to have a great impact on their social and cognitive development.

Jo Yee dissertation was a research on children’s imaginary friends and the way they perceived the world. She is hoping to do more related research so that she will be able to create effective interventions for children with special needs. She wants more special needs children get the same opportunity as typical developing children in learning and in their social development.
